2016 FCI World Dog Show:
congratulations Russia!

There had been rumours, hear-says, comments, all of them negative, on Social Networks or via emails about the organisation of the 2016 FCI World Dog Show in Moscow.

After 4 very busy days, we have to admit that the very hard work of RKF, combined with their will to listen to the recommendations of the FCI Consultancy Group, have resulted in an outstanding dog show, of which all of us will remember as a very professional competition. RKF has managed to combine professionalism, glamour, friendship and relaxing atmosphere among the exhibitors, judges, visitors and guests.

FCI Earth Dogs Commission – Activity Report

Meeting
One meeting was held in St. Leonhard (Austria) on February 15th, which was attended by delegates from the FCI member countries. We had to elect the President and Vice-President of our commission. The delegates elected Steffen Maar (Germany) as President and Franz Gruber (Austria) as Vice-President.

We discussed 13 regulations for CACIT trials and sent them to the FCI General Committee.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the delegates of the FCI Earth Dog Commission for their support and active cooperation. I would also like to thank the FCI General Committee for its consistently positive appraisal of our motions, which likewise expresses its appreciation of our work.

The 2016 meeting will take place on February 14th in Helsinki (Finland).

2015 FCI European Cup - Versatility Trial for Dachshunds
The 2015 FCI European Cup - Versatility Trial took place on 17-18 October in Lengau (Austria).
Twelve dogs participated in the trial. The winner was “Ilona von der Deyster Drift” with Mr Kurt Hartmann from Switzerland.

I would like to express my gratitude to the organisers for their excellent work.

The 2016 FCI European Cup - Versatility Trial for Dachshunds will be held in Czech Republic.

My thanks also go to the FCI General Secretariat for their cooperation and help over the last year.
